Like the Windows Client, the Excel Client too must establish a connection to the CoPlanner server. To connect to the server, please select “Login” from the menu.

The Login dialogue appears and allows you to select your user name, password, and other options. After selecting the desired settings, please click on “Login”. If, instead of the Login dialogue, you receive an error message saying that the client could not connect to the CoPlanner server, please refer to the section on the Login dialogue.

Excel Client, Context Menu

The following menu items will be added:

  1. Analyzer:

This menu item launches the Analyzer. If you are inserting a report, the report will begin in the cell on which you right-clicked to launch the context menu. If you right-clicked to launch the Analyzer in a previously inserted Analyzer report (dynamic mode), the matrix from the sheet in the Analyzer will be opened. This allows you to add or remove axis dimensions and filters as well as flip axes.

  1. Formula Assistant

This menu item launches the Formula Assistant. When you insert a formula created with the Formula Assistant, it is inserted into the cell on which you right-clicked to launch the Assistant. If this cell already contained a CoPlanner Excel Client function when you right-clicked on it, the function will be displayed in the CoPlanner Function Designer.
