Every dimension assigned to the input mask can be represented as a filter or as an axis within the mask. The initial appearance of each input mask is preset in the default settings. You can edit these settings to suit your needs by defining dimensions of the filter area (e.g. PC/CC, Countries/Customers, Types of Revenue in the figure shown above) as axis dimensions or vice versa. You can also change axes. To reverse the vertical and horizontal axis, please left-click on the “Rotate axis” symbol .

Replace axis with filter

To define a filter as an axis, left-click the filter and drag it (holding down the left mouse button) to the axis you want to replace, then release the mouse button. The filter will become the new axis, while the old axis will be moved to the filter area. In the following figure, Countries/Customers will be displayed horizontally instead of the time: Select the filter Countries/Customers within the outlined area as described above (hold down the left mouse button) and dragged over the time dimension in the horizontal axis (release mouse button at this point).

Exchange an axis for a filter

By clicking and dragging on the filter header, the entire filter is dragged into the axis. Alternatively, you can click and drag the filter selection. In this way, only the filter selection is displayed in the axis.

Replace axis with filter selection

In addition, CoPlanner offers the option of exchanging filter and axes by dragging elements from a filter into an axis.

Nesting axis

It is possible to display more than one dimension on an axis. Therefore choose a further dimension from the filter area and drag it on the desired axis. You can display as many dimensions as you want. As a standard, the number of dimensions on an axis is limited to two dimensions. IF you need more dimensions to nest on an axis, please contact your PowerUser.
