The security model of CoPlanner is based on defined roles and users. Users are assigned to roles with specific rights which determine their level of authorization in CoPlanner.
Open the user administration via
CoPlanner Menu / Development mode / User administration.

Authorization Hierarchy
A user can be member of several roles. Furthermore it is possible to directly assign individual rights to each user. The access rights of each user result from the own assigned rights and the rights based on roles.
Example
The user “John Q. Public” is member of the role “development” and the role “distribution”. The role “development” is granted access to the cost center “development”, the role “distribution” to the cost center “distribution”. The user “John Q. Public” is not permitted to see any cost center at all but based on the role memberships “John Q. Public” is entitled to call up both cost centers in the user interface/in the report.
