Subsets offer an individual view of dimensions. Any number of subsets can be compiled with elements from one dimension. Please proceed as follows to make or change subsets: Change to the developer mode and open the object administration. Select “Subsets” in the selection box in the middle at the top and ensure that this root element is highlighted in the tree on the left, whose root is named “Objects”. On the right, you now see all subsets that are available in the system. Open a Subset to view the structure.

Framework, Subsets

You see the subset itself on the left half of the screen.

Use the level selector to set a clearly structured view only up to the stated level within the tree structure. By dragging from the right to the left side, individual dimension elements or entire (part) structures can be dragged to the subset. For this purpose, highlight the required elements, move the mouse over the icon of a highlighted element so that the mouse pointer turns into a hand and then drag the elements to the left window. Elements saved in the subset are checked.

In order to drag sum elements without their daughter elements to the subset, press down the “shift” key while you are moving them. You can change the order of the subset elements using drag & drop.

If you press down the "Ctrl" key, elements will be pasted at the same level.

If the keys "Ctrl" and "shift" will be pushed together, the elements will be pasted as the last at the root level

New elements can be created in the subset (with the ribbon by clicking the “Create various elements” button).

Hint  Subsets are used only for the alternative arrangement or depiction of elements, but not for alternative hierarchies. Dragging new daughter elements below a parent element does not change its sum.
