In this dialog you can assign permissions of navigation to a role or a user.

Buttons
The list on the left-hand side displays the navigation structure. By (de)activating the checkbox “visible” you define if a menu instruction is displayed or not. (De)activating the checkbox “modify” defines if data can be modified or only read.
This setting concerns the following objects and designers of CoPlanner:
- Dimensions
- Input mask
- Row view
- All designers that support a check out/in (e.g. scenario manager, BI center, subscription manager, workflow manager etc.)
The list on the right-hand side displays all elements with at least one assigned permission. The addition “(RO)” means that the element can be read only and not be modified. How to mark elements:
- Marking a node: The path to a root-node is marked automatically.
- Marking a node while pressing the Ctrl key: All child elements get the same settings as the parent elements.
- Marking a node while pressing the Shift key: The element is visible only after the parent element is visible. This may also occur when a new element is created or imported and the default setting is visible but the parent element is not visible. Additionally it may occur when shifting an element from a visible to a hidden parent.
- Marking a node while pressing the Ctrl key and clicking on the button: All elements are marked.
| Hint A grayed out element is not visible due to the inheritance logic. |
