PowerPoint Add-in:Installation

Installation of PowerPoint-Addin will be started by a double-click on the executable file CoPlannerPowerPointAddIn.msi.

Hint   To guarantee a clean installation make sure that no previous PowerPoint-Addin is installed on your system. If you have an older version of the PowerPoint-Addin make sure that you uninstall this version before you install the new one.

Installation steps

Start installation by clicking on CoPlannerPowerPointAddIn.msi. A wizard will guide you through the installation.

Installation step	Description
PowerPoint Add-in, Installation step 1	Start of installation
PowerPoint Add-in, Installation step 2	Terms of a license have to be accepted to continue with the installation
PowerPoint Add-in, Installation step 3	Installation directory of PowerPoint-Addin can be changed
PowerPoint Add-in, Installation step 4	Installation will be started Hint   You need administrator rights to perfom this step.
PowerPoint Add-in, Installation step 6	Dialog to enter server connection Hint   This dialog will not be shown if the configuration file already exists in the installation directory of the PowerPoint-Addin.
PowerPoint Add-in, Installation step 7	Confirmation of a succesful installation

Installation with parameters (from 9.5 HF 3.5)

Starting with version 9.5 HF 3.5 Add-Ins can be installed via command line using parameters. If no parameter(s) is/are given installation will act as before.

The following parameters can be used:

• COP_SERVER
• COP_PORT
• COP_MAXROWS
• COP_MAXCELLS
• COP_TCPFORMATTER
• COP_SSLCOMMONNAME
• COP_LANGUAGES

Example:

msiexec /i CoPlannerPowerPointAddIn.msi COP_SERVER=ServerXY COP_PORT=8965 COP_LANGUAGES="Deutsch|English"
