The options that are available for use in the options pane on the left side of the window will vary depending on the types of formatting that are possible in your selection.

The “General” group shows the name of the style sheet and also contains the Save, Save as, and Delete buttons. The second dropdown list shows the name of the selected region

Note: It is not necessary to save changes to a style sheet in order to apply the changes to a data definition.

To create a new style sheet, click the Save As button. Name your style sheet and click “OK” to confirm the name. To cancel the operation, press the Escape key.

To delete a style sheet, select the style sheet and click the Delete button .

The “Colour” group allows you to change the foreground (text) colour and the background colour of the selected region
The colour dialogue for defining the background colour also contains three colour gradients that can be applied to axis dimensions. The background colour will be applied depending on the level of each element: Level 0 will have the darkest shade, etc.
The “Border” group allows you to define a line colour and a line mode (thickness) for your border.
The “Font” group allows you to customise the font, size, and alignment of your text. You also have the option to set your font style to bold, italic, or underlined.
The “General” group does not affect the formatting of a specific region. Rather, it applies to the style sheet in general.

Gridlines: Select this option if you want to display gridlines.
Row and column header: Select this option if you want to display row and column headers.
Display header row bar: Select this option if you want to display a decorative bar (header bar).
