New in Enterprise Edition Version 9.4
On this site you will be introduced in some new features of CoPlanner Enterprise Edition 9.4. A detailed list and description of all features can be found after the installation in the CoPlanner directory in the document "feature list 9.4".
The new Web-Client
With the CoPlanner version 9.4 the Web client was put on a completely new basis, and its performance is improved. The design has been adapted and reduced in comparsion to its predecessor. With CoPlanner 9.4 the web client supports the following types of masks:
- Input mask
- Single row mask
- Row mask
- Masks with info areas

The new Excel-Client
The CoPlanner Excel client can display, prepare and adapt data directly from CoPlanner tables and cubes in Microsoft Excel. MS Excel acts here as a front end. The new version 2.0 combines proven features with enhanced analytical capabilities:
- The integration has been improved with the new version, for example, the entire styles can be taken from the CoPlanner.
- The menu is displayed on the Ribbon, and allows a user-friendly navigation.
- Individual CI / CD-oriented templates can be defined and used as a reporting and analysis template.
- Two different modes for reporting will be offered:
- In the dynamic mode, ad hoc reports from the CoPlanner Analyzer can be generated 1:1 in Excel, which can then be modified with the CoPlanner Analyzer.
- In the formula mode intuitive formula-based reports can be created with the new CoPlanner own formula designer, which can exploit the full functionality of Excel.
- With the function "Mail Merge" reports can be individually defined and exported as a series.
- The enhancement of the existing Excel functions allows a simple formula generation and a more meaningful reporting.

The CoPlanner styles are available in the Excel client.

CoPlanner Analyzer
The CoPlanner Analyzer helps you to create a report quickly.
Filter administration
Excel reports will be filtered with CoPlanner filters.
Formula designer
The formula designer helps you to create queries with CoPlanner data.
Performance improving
With 9.4 CoPlanner the performance of the CoPlanner server has been highly optimized for querying data so that both the response times of individual-read requests were significantly reduced, as well as the number of parallel users that send a read request to the CoPlanner server at the same time, has increased.
Display folder
In masks and cubes is it possible with CoPlanner 9.4 to group measures into display folders and use this display folders to filter the displayed measures. For a detailed description of the display folder, click here.
Context
With the context settings of the current mask (filter in the mask, the mask axes, dimension information the currently selected cell) can be passed.The following objects can handle context information of the mask:
- Masks (also in web)
- Macros
- Imports

Further improvements
In addition to the major adjustments above to the CoPlanner numerous other improvements have been made, such as:
- Data in input masks can be updated automatically or manually
- Input masks allow to invert a dimension (ie headings below the associated elements)
- Using the context menu leaf elements of a sub-tree can be displayed
- Links will be supported in the single row mask
- Logging on to the server has been redesigned
