Time frame of the plan

The Scenario Manager allows you to specify a planning horizon for each plan. In the standard configuration, CoPlanner Smart Edition automatically calculates the profit and loss statement every time you save. To ensure maximum convenience during plan data entry, all calculations are limited to the plan time frame. Please make sure that you enter all the plan values for this time frame, otherwise CoPlanner will not calculate the results or will not calculate such items as, for example, those dependent on quantity and price or those corresponding to a percentage of the turnover in variable cost planning.

Hint  For any individual plan, you can disable data entry for periods outside the plan time frame.

Hint  You can edit the default settings to deactivate automatic calculation of the results. The results are then calculated manually by selecting a menu command.

Refusal to save data

Depending on various security settings, e.g. if plan data entry is limited to the plan time frame, CoPlanner may refuse to save data. This will occur, for example, when actual data were imported and this time frame was locked.
