The navigation designer is composed of the following elements
Ribbon
Elements of the Navigation Designer ribbon.
Level selection
If you mouse-click on the level selection you can increase or reduce the view to several levels. The number shown indicates the number of the hierarchy levels to be displayed.
Working area
In this area you create and maintain your navigation structure:
Navigation elements are created in the working area and must have a unique identification. You may arrange navigation elements in any way you want and create classifications or structures as you wish. Nods in the structures have an extra icon or . By mouse-clicking on this icon you can open or close lower levels.
As for deleting and moving / drawing of dimension elements please see the user’s manual.
The ribbons in the CoPlanner are built according to the classification of the elements in the navigation designer. The ribbons in the upper part contain the most important commands as tab in the direct access (e. g. model, planning, actual data, etc.). Some of these tabs are grouped into one category. The multi function bar is composed of three areas:

Tabs for one important area each. The tabs contain the groups. The name of the various groups is indicated below (e. g. in the “model” tab the group OLAP dimensions, etc.). Within the groups there are the commands (e. g. companies, PC/cost center, products, etc.). Display of the classification levels in the ribbon:
- 1st level: category
- 2nd level: tab
- 3rd level: group
- 4th level: commands
- 5th level and below: sub-commands

Line header
The line header serves as a status display of the dimension element. The following displays are possible:
In order to display navigation attributes please activate the “Show attributes in detail” icon
in the toolbar. The icon will then appear pressed.
