Framework:Developer mode
CoPlanner has a separate menu item to access the development mode in the Enterprise Edition and Framework. For this purpose, select “Change to developer mode” from the CoPlanner menu/developer mode.
The following dialogue is displayed:
There are four different modes. When you enter CoPlanner, you are in “Normal” mode. This mode is available to every user. You can change back to this mode when you are in a developer mode. The other three modes can only be accessed if you enter a password.
PowerUser
The PowerUser is a customer-side user who performs administrative activities in CoPlanner and is also able to build new modules, respectively who can change and adjust modules developed for the customer. This password is saved in the license information of the customer or partner. Therefore, it cannot be changed. If you have forgotten the password or if you wish to reset it, you can only do this in cooperation with CoPlanner GmbH (or with partners authorized for licensing). In this case, CoPlanner GmbH or the authorized partner must create a new license file. Alternatively, you can ask CoPlanner GmbH or the authorized partner to tell you the password.
Partner
This is based on the conclusion of a partner agreement. This mode features all options from the PowerUser mode, but additionally with access to the standard CoPlanner objects such as operative and multi-annual planning. The password is only known to the partner itself, but it is also saved in the license file. The partner mode password applies to all customers supported directly by a particular partner. The password for this mode can only be changed at the partner’s request, it being understood that downstream implementation with the partner’s customers is the partner’s responsibility.
Manufacturer
Only CoPlanner GmbH is regarded as the manufacturer. Therefore, the password for this area is never provided to a customer or a partner. In this mode, it is possible to access and perform operations in all areas.
