Insert chart via Assistant=
The symbol "Chart" allows to insert a chart into the report. There is an assistant which should offer support to create the chart.
A click on 'Assistant...' opens the assistant.
In the next step you select the appropriate data object on which the chart should be generated.CoPlanner Cube, CoPlanner Table and OLAP-Cube are available as data objects.

After the selection of the data source the next step is to define the measures and dimensions in the chart. All dimensions and measures are listed in the selected data object which are available in the selected cube. Measures which are not number-format are not appropriate for graphics are shown grayed out and are not usable. Additionally, there is the possibility to define one or more Calculated Measure. Here you also have the possibility to use measures of other data objects. Click on the drop down field with description "Please select a data object" on the left bottom. CoPlanner Cube, CoPlanner Table and OLAP-Cube are available as data objects . If you select a CoPlanner cube you have access to all measures of this cube titled "Measures" and also to the measures which were already defined in the table titled "Measures in graphic".

Insert of calculated measures
Additionally there is the possibility to define one or more calculated measures. There is also the possibility to use measures of other data objects. For that just click on the field with the description "Please select a data object" respectively if you have chosen already an object the name of the chosen object is listed here. If you select a CoPlanner Cube you have access to the cubes measures "Measures" but also to the measures which are already defined in the chart "Measures in chart".
| Input Drag the "Add" under the calculated measures in the value column. The formula assistant will be opened. Chose the category "Measure in diagram" and capture this formula: [Menge]-[Menge IST VJ] and confirm with OK. After this a dialog is shown which requests a name. Type in the name 'Abw'. |
Edit of measures
Measures can be edited further. A click on the arrow beside the measure name opens a context menu. Here you have the possibility to change the order, add filters, remove the measure and general settings. Under settings you have the possibility to change the name, define a color, adapt the display-type and define series- and axisformat. Furthermore you can add a sort sequence and define if the values in the chart should be labeled or not.

Adjustment of axis and data points
There is the possibility via a right-click in the preview to show or not show the axis and to define if data points should be shown.

Select colour scheme
You can select pre-defined color schemes for the chart.

The filters in this step are overtaken by the basis cube. Filters can be moved or removed by the dropdown menu of the particular filter. A click on "Finish" will insert the chart into your report.
The assistant is useful to create fast and simple graphics. You can find a description of the settings here.
For all further settings make a double-click on the chart. You can find a detailed description of these settings here.

The report is being generated and instantly available.
Diagramm ohne Assistenten einfügen
Über das Symbol 'Diagramm' im Ribbon können Diagramme im Report eingefügt werden. Dabei klicken Sie einfach auf das 2. Element 'Diagramm' und ziehen in weiterer Folge im Report das Diagramm auf. Es öffnet sich ein Dialog zur Anlage einer Grafik.
Der Menüpunkt 'Daten' dient zur Datenauswahl. Wählen Sie nun auf der linken Seite unter Daten das gewünschte Datenobjekt aus.
Nachdem die Datenquelle definiert wurde geht es im nächsten Schritt um die Definition von Measures und Dimensionen im Diagramm. Hierfür werden Ihnen unter dem ausgewählten Datenobjekt jene Dimensionen und Measures aufgelistet die im ausgewählten Objekt enthalten sind. Zusätzlich besteht die Möglichkeit ein/mehrere berechnete(s) Measure(s) zu definieren.
Ziehen Sie nun mittels Drag&Drop die gewünschte Dimension entweder auf die 'X-Achse' (Darstellung horizontal) oder auf die 'Y-Achse' (Darstellung vertikal).

Damit in der Grafik Werte angezeigt werden müssen noch Measures definiert werden. Hierfür ziehen Sie ein oder mehrere Measures mittels Drag&Drop in die Spalte 'Wert'. Für die Definition von Filter ziehen Sie ebenfalls mittels Drag&Drop in die Spalte 'Filter'. Diese Filter stehen dann in der Grafik in der Filterleiste zur Verfügung und die Grafik kann nach Bedarf eingeschränkt werden.
Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit auf Measures anderer Datenobjekte zuzugreifen. Hierfür klicken Sie einfach auf das Dropdown Feld der Datenauswahl und wählen das gewünschte Datenobjekt aus. Als Datenobjekt stehen Ihnen CoPlanner Würfel, CoPlanner Tabellen und OLAP-Würfel zur Verfügung. Wenn Sie einen CoPlanner Würfel auswählen so stehen Ihnen einerseits jene Measures aus dem Würfel zur Verfügung, andererseits besteht die Möglichkeit ein berechnetes Measure du definieren.
Um ein berechnetes Measures in der Grafik zu definieren ziehen Sie das Element in die Spalte 'Wert'. Anschließend öffnet sich der Dialog Formelassistent automatisch. Hier können Sie nun die gewünschte Formel definieren. Nachdem die Formel definiert wurde bestätigen Sie den Dialog mit OK. Es erscheint ein weiterer Dialog auf dem Bildschirm der nach einem Namen für das berechnete Measure verlangt. Erfassen Sie hier einen entsprechenden Namen und bestätigen abermals mit OK. In der Grafik wird sofort das neue, berechnete Measure visualisiert.

Mit Klick auf Fertig wird die Grafik im Report erstellt. Mit Klick auf Weiter könnnen Sie weitere Einstellungen, die Grafik betreffend, treffen. Eine genaue Beschreibung zu diesen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten im Diagramm finden Sie hier.
Sollen im Nachhinein Einstellungen geändert werden in der Grafik so reicht ein Doppelklick auf die Grafik und der Einstellungsdialog der Grafik öffnet sich.
