At CoPlanner you are able to import roles and users from the “active directory”. Click on the button in the ribbon and the following dialog appears:

Import NT-permissions

In the field “domain” you have to insert the domain from which groups and/or users are imported into the CoPlanner. The following notations are valid:

  • Fully qualified name: CN=users, DC=wien, DC=foo, DC=prg

By clicking on the button “Load” the objects of the “active directory” appear.

Options

Keep role membership:

By activating this option the role membership will be kept when importing users. Otherwise the users will be set up in the system role “everyone”.

Prefix the user with the domain:

By activating this option the name of the domain in the text field will be inserted in front of the user name when importing users.
