Framework, Creating time dimensions

There are three time dimensions in the CoPlanner standard:

  • dim_sys_time: for the operative plan, the forecast and ACTUAL
  • dim_sys_years: for the multi-year plan
  • dim_sys_days: for the daily plan or the daily reporting (not used in the data model)

Time dimensions require a field named “Date” as an attribute and that field must also be of the “date” type.

Hint  You may create time dimensions yourself and have them filled by means of this wizard. But you need to make sure that the dimension has a “date” field of the date data type.
